A lousy day!!!

I was over the seventh moon because I passed the CYA interview. Yay, I will be joining CHANGI YOUTH AMBASSADORS team. I deserved to get a scolding from Wei Beng because I didn't know that, yeah he didn't do well for interview. Me and my big mouth, well learn from your mistake in future. Sorry Wei Beng but there Jiayi also passed her interview, congratz Jiayi. Today DBE was like F&*)T%$& man....we have to reshuffle the group for project. It was a torturous moment. I wanted to stay the same group with Jiayi they all but well she is taken ready. So I try to be in same group with Rusli and Jesslyn and Weini called Rusli to go over their group. Pitiful jiayi, I made her feel uneasy and Zitong told me that she actually cried becuase of that and she keep on telling me that she didn't mean to kick me out.I can feel that she feel really uneasy.I really sorry Jiayi, I didn't actually mean to make you feel uneasy, its alright whether I am in which group, its doesn't matter. I was asked to joined Fel's group. So my group members are Felicia, Aishah, Minxin, Zhen Jie and myself...yay!!! feel so much better after letting my heart out in blog and talking to a few good friends :D thank guys !!!

What does education mean to me?

Education; Essential of Life

Education in the largest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. In its technical sense, education is the process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another. I believe that education is an essential in our life. Without proper education, we cannot survive in this challenging and rapidly changing world. In society, we need social and moral values such as honesty, perseverance and integrity to be able to prosper. Therefore education is playing a significant part in shaping us to be able to prepare for the future as well as in society. To me, a person without education is a like a person without sight – he can’t differentiate what is right and what is wrong.

I strongly agree with this statement that educating a person only in terms of a cognitive mind and not in terms of values and morals is to create new sources of threat and danger to society. It is in fact true. Cognitive means the person only learned the basic concepts and he wasn’t equipped with other life skills, thus he will ended up being unable to differentiate the problems and unable to solve the problems and he will have to rely heavily on other for his survival. He may also be a threat and problems to the society because since he could not differentiate what is right and what is wrong, he could not contribute anything to the society and he may even have the potential to harm and threaten the society in many ways.

To me, education means fun and enjoyable learning journey. I enjoyed learning and acquiring new skills as I got to know more about the world, the society and myself through education. For example, we learn Social Studies subject to get to know more about the world, appreciate the hard works of our government done for us, get to know what is happening around the world through this subject. That is a part of education to keep us stay in keep with the world and acquire the world of knowledge. Although I have learned many things over the last decade, I could not consider myself as an educated person because I firmly believe that there are more to be learned out in the world.

In Singapore, the education system equips us with the knowledge and life skills and moral values when we set foot in the working environment. For instance, secondary school education equips us with the moral values and basic fundamentals of life skills and work skills to prepare us for the future. As we move on to the next step of higher education such as polytechnic, the education system there equips us with more fundamentals of life skills and prepare us to face with the challenging and rapidly changing world to ensure us that we are ‘Life Ready, Work Ready and World Ready’. Polytechnic education system allowed us to be more independent on ourselves and the work attachment programs allowed to learn more about working life outside the school to ensure that we are ready and prepared once we graduate and step out of the school to begin our journey as workmanship.

In conclusion, education is playing a significant role in shaping our future. If we want to be successful in future, we must pursue it with great responsibility or else we won’t be able to become successful and we will be falling behind and losing track on this challenging and globalised world.

Went Hyper

Waa......another day is gone, my arms are tired and my muscles are in pain. Today is MJ leave the world for one year ready. Lols i also worked in NTUC for half a year, 6th month anniversary, hahaha....today I went hyper as usual, and as usual also out of control.....WTF, need to sort out the monthly offers for june. lucky not much as 400+++ like last time. That fucking idiot asshole from HGPT is as usual late, need to wait for him to sent to us tomorrow. Walao eh, never thought that he would be an eyesore and annoying, know-it-all idiotic fucker, he acts like he is the in charge of all the hypermarket VM like that, seriously MICHAEL KOH, please la, you need to improve your attiude man......if I am the TL or manager or someone with high rank, you will be losing your face long time ago. And you want to repremand other people yet your grammer and spelling are damn fucked up...it's like SHIT!!!! Sigh, spoil my day for nothing, lols....today i talked for non-stop..hahahha ended up offending Ma Pinky, sorry....didn mean to offend you ^^

SP Daiko camp and MOB presentation
MOB presentation we were quite ready and I was quite confidence with myself, haha we overshoot the time sia, but its ok. Everyone did a great job, well done guys!!!! so the poverb was right after all, TOGETHER EVERYONE CAN SUCCESS! Terence's poveb was super cool, haha
'TEAMWORK IS ESSENTIAL, YOU CAN BLAME SOMEONE ELSE' haha....damn funny sia, ok after school i went for camp, quite alot guys, the girls~like only single digit only then we went to school of business because our camp site is at there,then got ice breaker games, then went for shower at Stadium, damn nice man.....after tat got horror factory similar as night walk, they use horror movies to scare the craps out of us, then we went for night walk  (YAY I WAS WAITING FOR THAT), as usual, i was overwhelmed by fear again, haha as usual la, I SCREAMED ARRR!!!!!!!!!!hehe so paiseh sia, of course la, who ask them to make the guys go solo.....then go back to respective rooms and get a rest......i was given a nickname =.= 'orange guy'

woke up early, around 6+++aircon was freaking cold man, 16' siao la....haha, i went back early because i got CYA meeting today, I reached the ariport just in time but became blurred cuz i really dunno which way to go....haha anyway our seniors managed to find us.....after the interview, went back to home and i slept like a log throughout the whole journey from tanah merah to boon lay. then i chatted with yee leng for a short while using webcam, walao eh i so paiseh sia, i looked like retarded, haha but i think yee leng was quite entertained, i just glad that she feel better :D aw, she looked thinner man, pitiful terrorist, ok yee leng, no more webcam haha ^^ just jokn, around i went to look for stephanie, WTH, WTF, she started smoking yesterday i was quite skocked man, never thought that she would be very stressed, so we chatted about how difficult her situation is now, due to two idiots (her bf and her old class mate) who became rival because of love, pity her sia, but i will listen to you and give you advice but strictly no smoking please, haha...i managed to stop her from buying ciggeratte but I cannot predict the future, i only can hope that she won't become too addictive and won't affect her study....but if you got anything to say, i can listen to you but NO SMOKING PLEASE,haha..............signing off, good night everyone~

Quite busy preparing for camp and MOB-EGG presentation tomorrow, Walao......must wear nice nice, but i not used to wearing nice nice, i only like to wear simple, sway liao lor zaylinn....today we get ready for the presentation tmrw and then meeting with gruop members for DBE project, lols.......today Mrs.Loh informed us that we were noisy during econs lecture....what the heck??? we were so behaved in the lecture sia,ms. angela koh anyhow Paoto us sia....sigh...

What a day!!!Today morning on the way to school, the trained got jammed and keep on stopping....what the heck man.....instead of 13 minute train journey, it took around half an hour to get to dover.....damn inconvenience sia. On the way to school of business, I realised that today is graduation day ceremony and the graduates look very grand and dashing....waa,I was like filled with sense of envy, well mine will be in three years time :D ZAY LINN MUST JIA YOU!!!

Well, another usual day had passed...what the hell sia, times flied very fast like speed of light when you needed time badly. Haha, today DBE tutorial we gotta present about 'What situations lead to Sole Proprietorship, Partnership and Corporations...Waa what the craps sia, so inconfidence in myself...just talked to Yee Leng, haha same as usual, she is stressed again.....and wow she is damn lucky, she saw a shooting star....so lucky sia Yee Leng. How I wished I could see shooting stars as well.....Arrr.....now doing research about Teamwork and Decision Making. And I just discovered what a damn fucking irritating and annoying my little cousin be. What a living internet sia, talk talk complain like non stop, WTH, if there is a talking and complaining competetion, I am sure he is the one going to be champion!!! sierously, I feel like sticking his mouth with scorch tape, masking table, stuffing his mouth with clothes to shut him sia...haha but I not that evil, I just imaging things only hor...haha Zaylinn is very HOLY le ^^

SPEC Exchange Programme!!! WOOHOO!!!! NEW FRIENDS!!!

Woohoo....get to make new friends from Japan; LEONA, JUNPEI, SHOKI and SHUHEI....and my partner is Sean from DAC year 2. We were assigned to bring them to Chinatown to try local delicacies. Hoho, they are like damn friendly and shy as well....JUNPEI (sound like korean name) is a type of guys
who the shopping additive girls will love to marry coz he really love to spend and the most hyper type, LEONA is a guy who's like quite type and love to wear hello kitty slippers.....haha and then SHUHEI love to wear the star shaped shade around and then SHOKI is a guy who can speak the most accurate English and last but not least, Sean, who is a nice and friendly Singaporean with Non-Singapoean's accent who used his I-phone for translating, cool :D, as for me, I was like using the word 'HAJIMEMASHITE: nice to meet you" taught by Felicia and really greatful toward her for teaching me also....there was some weird incident which made me go woowoo....example Anime, they pronounce it as A....NEE....MEH...

Waa...never bogged for like around three long months ready....alot things happened during these three months.....I got into DHRMP/01 where I met my great friends and classmates and meet great friends like Roy. Canaan and Freddie during camps....well....last come back to present.......................................

Yay!!! I get selected into SPCYA and will be going for interview on 22nd May!! Work was like tiring sia......Jean asked me to help her fresh dept, man...it was like hell, standing there for 3 straight hours.....packing potatoes, peaches and then ginger....total around 10 boxes -_- One lesson learnt, never ask Jean to treat you or you will suffer....lol
