All I ever see is Haze

I just gotta share this. This explains the whole situation in Singapore.

This. Is. Too. Damn. Funny. And true. And the lyrics are catchy too. *I can't stop singing to this tune since evening*. Kudos to the makers of this video.

All I ever see is ~
Haaaaaaaaayyyyyy haze, haze haze haze ~ ~

And who said Singaporeans don't have a sense of humor?

Thank God It's Friday

Woke up feeling real dizzy due to the smell caused by the haze. No joke bro. My house smelled like burnt wood, I swear.

Not only my house was affected, the office too was affected by the haze. Especially Alvin and my cubicles smelled real bad.

Told Michelle about my trip and ended up spending around 45 min in her room talking about Myanmar. It was fun. Haha, she must know the place more than me. I failed as a Burmese. ><

Seems like I gotta bring the guinea pigs going to Myanmar with me to Karaweik Palace and U Bein Bridge.

The air quality was so bad to a point that almost all the MSOs in the office moved to a vacant manager room. Haha, four of us squeezed into one tiny room. How cute.

The haze decided to hit sky high record of 401 in the afternoon.

4 0 1!

Nothing surprising anymore. 400 or not, didn't make a huge different anymore. We are still suffocating anyways.

And YES, there was some awesomely awesome news that I didn't expect. Here is this.

I. AM. GOING. KOREA.

AWESOME MAX LA! THIS IS THE NEWS WHICH I DIDN'T REALLY EXPECTED. I DID NOT TOTALLY EXPECTED IT AT ALL.

I AM GOING TO KOREA! WOOHOO!

Thank you NCYOK for giving me a chance. Now my dream come true. What's more, I only have to pay for airfare. The rest of the expenses are being taken care of.

I gotta thank my own mindset of not stopping to believe in myself. *Self-flattery*

Now left with getting an air ticket. Hopefully, the air ticket will be cheap. I need a miracle. It will even be good if there is someone reading this blog can sponsor me *fingers cross* to help me achieve my dreams. My email can be found under my profile. Your help will greatly be appreciated. :)

This new is definitely the best news I ever received. Nonetheless, I am looking forwards to the trip and making friends with many people and learn about Korean's culture and many more.

Thank God, it's Friday. Really.

Myanmar, here we come on Sunday. :)

Bad, Worse, Worst

321. The highest PSI ever.

So we thought.

BUT.

It hit 371, a dramatic increase in the PSI reading.

3 7 1!

For the whole day, the PSI range was beyond unhealthy level. I bet it is worse than hazardous. Take a look at this.

Terrible man. Everyone is going to suffocate to death at this rate. Hopefully not. Haha, the rain chose to miss in action when we need it the most. Please rain soon.

To make the matter worse, a comment by an Indonesian minister caused a stir in the country. He said, we behaving like kids. Seriously, dear minister, why not you come to Singapore to take a stroll down the road. If you can walk for more than half an hour without complaining a single shit, I salute you.

I mean, how could he comment just like that. It's way too irresponsible. Think of the millions of lives that affected by this haze, think of your citizens in Indonesia too. Your comment is way too ridiculous. GOSH!

Look at this, see how bad it is. This is getting bad to the worst.

Hope this madness stop soon. Please stop soon, please.

CRAZY HAZE!

Shit just got REAL! REAL BAD!

The PSI took a drastic jump from 190 to 290 at 9 pm. Hitting a record worse than previous record.

It didn't stop at 290. It jumped FURTHER TO 321.

3 2 1! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? 321!

Will the government declare off day tomorrow?

I wish. This is really bad man. Will our Indonesian neighbors please take some urgent measures. It's getting exasperating. They are not affecting only their neighboring countries, they are affecting themselves (their health) too.

When will this saga end? At this rate, Singapore will become "Singapore Highland" just like Genting Highland.

A little laugh of the day, to brighten up your spirit.

Pee Mak, a story of never ending love

Thai horrors.

What is the first thing that came to your mind?

BLOODY SCENES

The ending is always SCARY!

COMPLICATED STORY.

You are not the only one if you have these sentiments. Many people share the same sentiments too when it come to Thai Horror movies. I always hesitated when it comes to watching Thai horror movies, although the story lines are touching.

But this so called Thai Horror Comedy movie, named Pee Mak is indeed HILARIOUS! AWESOME MOVIE!

The story is based on Nak, a female ghost and her unyielding love for her husband, Mak. Nak and Mak, Mak and Nak. Okay, complicating.

It is scary, but the comedy scenes make it even more interesting! The director of this movie is really, smart and witty.

I have watched another version, Nang Nak which is kinda scary but has a touching ending. If you are soft hearted, you might not want to watch Nang Nak first.

IF YOU ARE READING THIS POST, I RECOMMEND YOU TO WATCH IT! YOU CAN THANK ME LATER. AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Here is the trailer for the movie.

I rest my case here. You can thank me later after watching the movie. I tell you, you won't regret it reader. :)

Hazy Monday! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I woke up as early as 500 AM to send mother to airport. She's going back Yangon today. I will be joining her a this Sunday. *YAWN*

So, checked in was done swiftly. Surprising.

Here is it. Mother's passport and boarding pass. SQ 998! SINGAPORE AIRLINES LEH! SHIOK ONLY! She's taking Singapore Airlines while I am stuck with budget. Oh well.

Have a safe flight, my dearest empress dowager. Have a safe journey there.

Anyways, she's back in Myanmar safe and sound. I wonder what she gonna say about SQ. After she went in, time for me to head to work, since it's no use going back home and coming out again. So I thought I would catch a wink in the train but who would have thought that it was crowded, much to my utter disappointment. I have to stand and stone for the rest of the journey to work.

There came lunch time, had my lunch with John at FC 4. I got my belated present from my bro.

Wanna guess what's inside??

Actually, I had no idea what's inside it. Took me many guesses what's inside but to no avail. So when I went back to office and opened it, what inside the present was not a soft toy or a shirt as I expected when I touched it. It's a pencil case. But a big one. Needless to say, I love it of course. It's awesome man. Plus it big enough to put other stuff. Thanks bro for the toy.

Just in case you are wondering, the bear is not the present. I took the teddy bear by the name of SPianch from Junnie's cubicle to put at my cubicle, to "beautify" my place. Zaylinn's logic. Okay can!

At this point of time (3PM), the PSI reading is 100. OH GOSH! WHY SO HAZY?

So, I passed the birthday card to Sok Ming after getting everyone to write their wishes. It took me one day to come out with it. Haha, the theme is based on travel, which suits her personality. I hope.

Here is it. Her birthday card, I edited it of course.*
Ben, "Director of Banana Cluster" presenting the "Certificate of Birthday" to the "Senior Manager of Banana Cluster" Birthday Girl.
The awesome birthday girl with the awesome card made by awesome Zaylinn. Self flattery at it's best.

I hope you love it Sok Ming! Once again,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

The PSI reading as of 6 pm was 111. WAH! OMG THE ATMOSPHERE IS GETTING VERY BAD.
How bad was it that, the moment I stepped out of the office, I felt suffocated, no kidding. It was that bad!

Decided to alight at Jurong East to take a tour around JEM to see what's so great about the place. My reaction: OH! Okay, like that lor. Nothing much to see anyway. And the crowd was so huge. Over rated sia, that place.

Oh yea! THERE'S H&M. The prices don't look so friendly to me. But I saw some really nice shirts just under 20 bucks. Damn tempted to get it, but holding back real bad. CONTROL ZAY CONTROL! DON'T GIVE IT TO TEMPTATION!

BUT THE SHIRT LOOK REAL NICE! :(

OKAY LA, I SHALL GET IT ON WEDNESDAY AFTER DINNER WITH REN SEN!

ZOMG! TOO MANY CLOTHES LIAO LEH! But the shirt look very nice and cheap. *play with thumbs*

HOLY MOLY SHIT! (Reference: Benedict's twitter and instagram) *Sorry Ben!* THE PSI READING AS OF NOW (10PM) IS 155?

SHIT! IF IT GOES ANY HIGHER, I GONNA SELF-DECLARE HOLIDAY ALREADY. I wish.

Please let PSI drop, I don't want to be suffocated by the air. Indonesian neighbors, please be responsible of your actions. You are harming many lives. :(

Time to become a "masked rider" tomorrow. *SHA BA TO BI HENSHIN SHA BA TO BI HENSHIN* MASKED RIDERRRRRRRR ZZZZ!!

Okay, lame enough, Time to sleep!

Good night. Rain, where are you when Singapore needs you now desperately?

Back to blogging

Okie Dokie!

I am back to blogging again. Inspired by Sok Ming to and my desire to be famous (I wish, heh) has rekindled my urge to blog. Let's see how long can I stay inspired. Hopefully I will stay inspired to continue blogging.

So why not? It's fun anyway. First thing first, I have revamped my blog into a new look. Didn't know Google's latest tools can be so convenient and useful. It's quite handy and fun though. Looking forward to revamp my blogs again in future.

Let's talk about today since I have nothing in mind to talk about.

Thank God it's Friday. Literally thank God, Allah, Buddha, Guan Yin Ma yo!

Decided to go for a run during lunch time. Yes, I did run!

When I ran, how I see myself.

What I actually am.

Nonetheless, I managed to run one whole round around SP. Awesome much! Here is it, the model wannabe fatty me. Looking un-glamorous at it's best.

OH YES! I bumped into Jinwei after my run. It was great catching up with her, been a real long since I saw Jinwei.

Oh yea, my bro Ying Sheng and his group of Acers were at CCOM today for new Acers interview. Felt like some real "ah pek" when I see them. Walao, why I so early graduate. :(

So I told Sok Ming about my blog and she got a good laugh at it. Apparently, she is having some reading problem. Sorry Sok Ming. x)

And then Frank came into the room, heard the commotion and asked what happened. He too joined Sok Ming in laughing at my poor blog.

Why?

Because of THIS!

Being careless as usual, I didn't check properly before publishing my post. So instead of posting "MY BLESSED 21ST", I posted as "MY LESSED 21ST".

HAHAHAHAHHA, DAMN EMBARRASSING. EMBARRASSMENT OF THE DAY. AND LAUGH OF THE CENTURY.

Hope the two had a good laugh.

Moral of the story, double check.

As my sock got wet after showering, I decided to walked around office bare-footed, just like the peeps in DSD do. Hey, it was quite comfy know, even though it was quite unglam.

And, I didn't know what Mr Benjamin Moey, "Director of Banana Cluster" has something against wearing barefooted in office. Hahah.

Ben got real 'violent' and 'aggressive' when he saw me walking into the room barefooted. Hahah, scary sia, Mr Ben. Yvonne's comment: "Barefoot must have turned him on". Okay, this sounded wrong but HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH....

Sorry Ben x)

Went to Dobhy Ghaut to meet up with Dzafir and Greg and had a good catch up dinner with these two gays and jokers. Oh, hey, they are not really gays, gays = happy uh. Don't get the wrong ideas
Anyways, we had a real good laughter at Sakura Buffet too. Great evening catching up and reminiscing those good old days at Shangri-La. Shangri-La, I miss it so so much! More bros outing to come.

Le Me, Dzafir and Greg. The awesome mates of Operation Shangri La 2011. The people that still keep in contact with one another.

My day, is, completed. A day filled with laughter, wish everyday could be like this. How great would it be, don't you think so?

My Blessed 21st

YES!

YES!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

I'M OFFICIALLY 21. SWEET 21!

A year older, a year wiser. I hope. Anyway, I had a pretty awesome birthday amid the shits that life thrown at me.

It was awesome. In fact, the best party that I ever had.

I had three celebrations in fact. Two advanced celebrations by my real awesome colleagues and one with Jeff, one of my fav bros of all time, without whom I will be clueless without his advises. The last one was on my birthday itself. It was really heartwarming to see and know that I am being loved and cared for.

First, it was with CCOM on 31st May.
Back Row (L to R) - Ben, Junnie, Frank
Front ( L to R) - Sok Ming, Yvonne, Le Me

Talk about unglam-ness, this is one hell awesome but unglam birthday card that made by CCOM. Haha, what else can I say besides being touched?

Awesome much, eh.

So, June came. 1st June, I went for hiking with Jeff. He gave me his "present", which is his presence. Knowing this bro of mine who don't have a habit of buying presents and gifts for people, his presence and making time for me is definitely more than enough. I couldn't ask for more.

This guy, looks super "cool" and "tao" in appearance, but he is really a caring bro. Without him, I would be clueless when dealing with the shits life thrown at me.

See, this guy with his usual "act cool" style. But this is the Jeff I know. Haha

Here it is, Jeff brought me to dessert at China Town after hiking from Mount Faber to Bukit Chandu and donating blood. Oh yes! I donated blood and he was there to accompany me too! Awesome much bro. And, woah! I was treated to the dessert. Happy Cheapo, and happy, pleased, and glad by simple yet really nice gesture of his. Feel really appreciated.

Meet Jeff! A bro who I can't live without (I believe I have said it too many times till it is getting very cliche). I am really glad and helpful to have him by my side. I am thankful and glad that I get to know him and having him as my bro!

Not forgetting dear PEARLYN GOH who appeared in front of my door to pass me the birthday card. SURPRISE! SURPRISE! SURPRISE! Haha, I am indeed touched by her. Totally speechless, really! Shock, surprised, speechless and touched. Pearlyn, haha, don't think you are not important and nobody. You are somebody and really important friend in my life. Haha, you brought smile and laughter into our lives. Keep it up Holy GOH! :)

Okay! 2nd June. The day is here. And LEE XIN YI, I want to kill you! HAHAHA, BLOODY HELL! PRANK ME INTO BELIEVING THAT YOU ARE AT MY HOUSE VOID DECK WAITING FOR ME TO COME DOWN! BLOODY HELL! YOU GOT ME THIS TIME! *&*)%($@^#&(

KARMA UH KARMA.

So comes the BBQ Party after a whole day. My aunty, mommy, grandparents really put a lot of effort into it despite saying they couldn't be bothered with the party. But well, they really rock! Especially my mother dear who was more kan cheong than me. Keep nagging me to get everything prepared. Of course, the party won't success without them. <3 p="">

It was a huge success I could said. Almost all of my buddies/bros/peeps/bitches are there. Some of them formed friendships with each other. It was a memorable one despite some drama. Let's feature some of the people! Hey peeps, if you are reading this, and your photo/face didn't appear here, no hard feeling. You are equally important to me! :)

Operation Shangri-la 2011 peeps. Shiming, Greg, Enqi, Le me and Shimin. My two bros and two "daughters  " from human train family.

Oh yea! I forgot to mentioned THERE WAS RAINBOW!!! It rained for about five minutes when we started BBQ and a rainbow appeared when it stops. Awesome much!!!! It was like a present from someone above.

Ying Sheng, another bro whom I met in Project Muan 2. Super outgoing and friendly.

Here it is. My fav couple. Nasuha and Kan Xuan. <3 p="" them.="">
Shan Wen, Richie, Le me, Frankie and Shi Min. :)

THIS BLOODY BIMBO WHO TRICKED ME AT MIDNIGHT! HAHAHA, I HATE YOU LEE XINYI! She's an awesome buddy of mine, irritating, annoying and blah blah blah. But when you need her, she's always there for yea, that's awesome enough. :)

Yeap, I didn't expect to see this for my 21st, but the two girls below took a lot of time and effort to make it happened. Awesome much, isn't it!

Introducing my two fav girls of Boon Lay Secondary School. Hilary and Zenda. Awesome swaggers. Nuff said.
Say hi to Gilbert Kwek, an idiot whom I see as my best friend. Idk what he sees about me la, haha. But this joker, definitely someone I am afraid to lose away. One of my two fav guys of Boon Lay Sec.

Introducing Eugene Lim JUN LIANG! HAHAHAH! My another fav guy of Boon Lay Sec. What awesome about him? Long long story, whole life will be wasted, juices will dry. Whatever la! Haha, he is just awesome and of course I can't afford to lose him too!

Not forgetting the most awesome-est female of my life, my dearest, loving, sometimes annoying and naggy but awesome mother. Love you mother, for everything. You are really the greatest!

I always believed in miracle, and yes, miracle happened. I was not expecting a huge turn out but it appeared that many appeared out of nowhere. Almost all my close friends/bros/buddies turn up. I am pretty much touched and happy. What else could I ask for? This is definitely the best party ever. It may be a lowly void deck celebration but hey, it definitely a lot better and much more meaningful than stay at hotel, drink alcohol, club, get drunk parties. Much much better!

This is miracle, I am pretty sure. These people will always be a part of my life, I can't afford to lose them away.

21st birthday, it was indeed an awesome moment. What lies ahead in my journey, I may not have the answer. But I will definitely fight on and move on.

I have many reasons to be strong and to carry on.

You can do it Zay.
